Privacy
This covers the mailing-list form on this site — the only thing here that collects anything about you — and the visitor counting described below. There is no advertising and there are no tracking cookies.
What I collect
Your name, your email address, the option you pick under “I’m here for”, and anything you write in the note field. Nothing else, and nothing you haven’t typed in yourself.
Why
So I can tell you when the songs are finished and who ended up singing them, and so I can reply if you’ve asked me something. That is all. I don’t sell it, share it, or add you to anything else.
Lawful basis
Consent, under UK GDPR. You give it by sending the form, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
Where it’s stored
The form is handled by Formspree, Inc., a form service based in the United States, which passes your message on to me by email. Your details are therefore transferred outside the UK and are held both by Formspree and in my email account. Formspree’s own privacy policy is at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
How long
Until you ask me to remove it, or until the list is no longer being used — whichever comes first.
Getting it deleted
Send a note through the form saying you want to be removed, or simply reply to any email you get from me. I’ll delete your details and won’t ask why.
Visitor numbers
I count page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn’t follow you around the web, and doesn’t collect anything that identifies you. I see totals only — how many people opened a page, roughly where in the world they were, and what linked them here. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent. If you think I’ve handled your details badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
